Born from living rock, the Stone Giant race is most at home in craggy mountainous areas or within deep caverns.  Unlike most other giant kindred, the Stone Giants maintain communal ties with other races, including humans, dwarves, and elves, oft generously trading their legendary stonecraft and mighty labors for such finely crafted works as their hands are too large and cumbersome to make for themselves.  Despite appearances, Stone Giants are keen admirers of beauty, both natural and made.  Long lived and with a sense of time too slow for most other races, it is said proverbially, “Ask of a stone giant anything but a story.”
