The past is oft forgotten, the future murky and uncertain.  Yet the long-lived seers among the Elves have memories of sunlight falling upon leaves of the first day, and also the vision to pierce the mists of time and see deeds still to come.  How then can any who draw breath strive with one sees their footprints before they ever take a step?
